III Liga (Trzecia Liga, (:ˈtʂɛt͡ɕa ˈlʲiɡa)) is a Polish football league that sits at the 4th tier of the Polish football league system. Until the end of the 2007–08 season ''III Liga'' referred to a league at the 3rd tier,〔(2007/08 Polish league results and tables at RSSSF )〕 although this changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. It's below II liga and above IV liga. == Season 2015/16 == As of the 2015/16 season there are 8 different regional leagues that make up the III Liga tier.
